The Ilis Congress Center with a total area of 9,000 m2 officially opens its doors in May 2024 after months of construction. The multiform space of international standards, with unlimited possibilities, suitable to accommodate any kind conference, exhibition and event, aspires to become a milestone in the current rapid development of the area. It offers a large lobby, a large exhibition hall and 15 rooms/halls as well as supporting facilities.
The halls can accommodate from 50 to 1,100 people with a total capacity of up to 3,000 people in co-occurring events. The Center is designed to offer flexibility when it comes to arranging the spaces and thus all possible exhibition needs are satisfied. The rooms are mostly above ground with natural light and they provide the latest technology in audio-visual equipment.
The conference hall is energy independent, since it houses a 1Mw photovoltaic field on its roof, and it is in line with all current quality standards and verification methods regarding insulation and energy saving.
STRATEGIC LOCATION: The Ilis Congress Center is the new hub in an area with great momentum thanks to new development and infrastructure projects such as the major road projects and new highways, the new port of Patras and the airport of Araxos. Located at a strategic area near the plain of liia and 32km away from the landmark of the archaeological site of Olympia, the Ilis Congress Center is less than 3 hours by car from Athens, while it is also connected to the Adriatic Sea.
